Thomson Snell and Passmore: A Partnership

Thomson Snell and Passmore: A Partnership

We are thrilled to announce that law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has chosen the Children’s Respite Trust as their Charity Partnership for the next two years. This decision, made through a staff vote, saw us selected from a shortlist of six deserving charities.

Thomson Snell & Passmore has previously partnered with notable charities such as Tree of Hope, Dandelion Time, and Demelza. Their commitment to supporting local causes is well recognised, and we are honoured to be the latest beneficiaries of their generosity.

Throughout the upcoming two years, Thomson Snell & Passmore will support the Children’s Respite Trust through a variety of events and fundraising activities. To kick off their calendar of events, the firm hosted their Annual Cricket Day. This brought together teams from different organisations to battle it out on the cricket pitch. This event and other activities planned aim to aid our efforts in providing essential respite care for disabled children and their families.

Sarah Henwood, CEO of Thomson Snell & Passmore, expressed her enthusiasm:

The Children’s Respite Trust does fantastic work, supporting disabled children and their families. We’re really looking forward to supporting them and are planning a wide range of events, activities and initiatives to help raise much needed funds. Helping those who live and work in our communities to thrive is central to the firm’s ethos and it was particularly important to everyone at the firm to support a smaller, local charity, especially at a time when so many charities are struggling.”

Michelle Hulse, Head of Care at the Children’s Respite Trust, also shared her gratitude:

We are incredibly grateful to Thomson Snell & Passmore for choosing us as their charity partner. Their support across the two years will make a significant difference to the lives of the children and families we serve. With their help, we can provide even more respite care and ensure that no family has to face the challenges of caring for a disabled child alone. We look forward to working together and making a positive impact in our community.”

This partnership marks a significant milestone for the Children’s Respite Trust, and we eagerly anticipate the positive changes that will result from this collaboration. Together with Thomson Snell & Passmore, we are committed to enhancing the lives of disabled children and their families within our community.
