The Children’s Respite Trust launched its annual Photo Competition today and chose a very colourful location for the occasion. The Marine Pub in Eastbourne, which has recently been described as Britain’s most decorated pub, provided the backdrop.

Enthusiasts of all abilities are being invited to enter into the six categories: Landscape, portrait, wildlife & animals, sports & events, architecture and transport. The winners from each category will receive a canvas print of their photo and along with second place their photo will feature in the Trust’s annual calendar. The overall winner will get to enjoy an amazing wildlife photography experience at Woburn Safari Park, spending an afternoon with the lions and a professional wildlife photographer.
