Over the last couple of months, the Trust has been supported by Apple Green Garage in Uckfield who has collected and donated various sweet treats to us.
The Garage set up a “donation bin” to enable their customers to purchase goodies for the Trust while buying fuel and other items and leave these in the bin.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the local community and are pleased to say that as so many sweet treats were donated for our families, care team and other staff we have been able to launch a new fundraising project- “Treat Boxes”.
We now have a number of Treat Boxes out in the local community, in school staff rooms, Estate Agents and on business counters and have so far raised over £400 for the Trust.
Treats are currently priced at 50p each and 100% of the profits come to the Trust.
Without the support of Apple Green Garage and the community here in Uckfield this would have not been possible.
As well as our new venture, the children and families we support enjoyed lots of chocolate treats with their make your own pancakes at home box which was delivered back in February and over Easter.
