What an extraordinary night it was on Saturday 11th November! We are still riding the wave of emotions after witnessing the incredible generosity of our community, and we’re thrilled to announce that together, we raised an astounding £74,000!
We welcomed 420 guests to the Winter Garden in Eastbourne, which we had transformed into an enchanted wonderland. During the evening, our guests heard about how the Trust’s work has helped families throughout the area, including two incredible parents who gave their own account of life with a disabled child. We were so delighted that everybody seemed to have a great time and more importantly, felt inspired to support us in raising this tremendous amount.
Organising an event of this magnitude is a year-long endeavour, and the success we’ve achieved is a testament to the collaborative efforts of numerous individuals and businesses. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our invaluable sponsors, without whom this event would not have been possible. A special thank you to:
A special mention goes to Tim Fifield for his exceptional role as Compere and to Mark Newey for hosting an action-packed auction that added excitement to the evening.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the incredible entertainers who kept the energy high throughout the night: Acting Moon Events, West End Kids, Sing with Cydney, Double Tap, DJ Dunk, and West End Studios for showcasing their exceptional talent.
Capturing the magic of the evening was James from Picture Book Films, alongside NXPhoto and Stephen Lawrence. The fantastic photo mirror from Letters In Lights added an extra touch of glamour to the event.
Our event wouldn’t have looked as stunning without the items from our décor partners: Mulberry Events, Forget-me-not weddings and events, Flutterby Events, Handpicked Flowers, Upcountry Garden Centre, Saxon Designs, Nikki Waller, Harry Quarendon, and Maddison-Beau Events.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers, whose hard work during setup and on the evening contributed significantly to the event’s success. We owe a debt of gratitude to our tireless Committee members – Loreen McKeon, Shirley Price, Alan Downer, and Westley Waller – who worked diligently for many months to make this our best Masquerade to date.
The success of our Balloon Raffle, Auction, and Silent Auction, which all together featured over 100 prizes, was made possible by the incredible generosity of those who donated and acquired prizes. Special thanks to:
