We are delighted to announce that The Lansdowne Hotel, a stunning 4-star hotel on the seafront in Eastbourne, has chosen the Children’s Respite Trust as their Charity of the Year! CRT Chief Executive Gavin Fisher and Managing Partner of the Lansdowne, Catherine Clifford, came together to talk about the huge difference the Lansdowne could make to us and our mission at the Children’s Respite Trust.
Our relationship with The Lansdowne has grown over the years, marked by their generous support at a few of our annual Masquerade Balls, held at the Winter Gardens in Eastbourne. This partnership has been further strengthened by the efforts of our dedicated Ambassador, Loreen McKeon, who has been a tremendous supporter from the very beginning.
As part of this special partnership, The Lansdowne has pledged to donate £1 to our charity for every ‘Catch of The Day’ sold from their 1912 main menu. This wonderful gesture is mentioned on their menu, allowing diners to see the impact of their choice. You can see what the 1912 restaurant has to offer here.
Adding to the excitement, we are thrilled to share that two members of their team, Kamil and Stephen, have signed up to participate in our Skydive at Headcorn Aerodrome. They will be taking to the skies on the 30th of June to support our cause! We wish them the best of luck.
