The Masquerade Ball wasn’t just an evening of fundraising games. The Trust was delighted to learn of a number of supporters who chose the occasion to give significant personal donations or contributions on behalf of their company. This included the John Whippy Foundation, who came on stage to present a cheque for £4,000, which will continue to pay for a Community Support Worker for Eastbourne and surrounding areas.
The support worker’s role is invaluable for giving support for families where their child is either unable to access the Centre or finds it easier to be cared for at home. This is the second year that the Foundation have supported in this way and we are all hugely grateful.
