We’re delighted to share that the Buxted Women’s Institute (WI) chose the Children’s Respite Trust as their charity of the year for 2024, raising an incredible £800 to support our work with local families.
Throughout the year, Buxted WI held tea and coffee stalls at community events and organised monthly raffles to raise funds. Their dedication and generosity will make a real difference to the children and families we support.
At their February meeting, we had the pleasure of attending to thank them in person. Our Fundraising Manager Rachel (pictured) met with President Anna Elliott and gave a talk to the group about the Trust’s work. It was fantastic to see so much interest and engagement from the members!
