Thank you to lovely staff at Barney’s Play who kindly donated some soft play items for the Children’s Respite Trust centre in Uckfield. Following the purchase of new items at Barney’s they chose to donate some of their older items that still have plenty of life in them. Not only is it a great opportunity for the Trust, but it is also lovely to see the sharing of resources rather than throwing them away.
Sensory and soft play are essential for a child’s development so we are particularly pleased that our Little Stars (U5s) are getting to enjoy the donated items. New toys and items at the centre challenges children and help them to learn new skills such as balance, coordination, and problem-solving all while playing.

Barney’s Play also run special SEN sessions that make soft play more accessible to children with additional needs. This session is especially for families of children with special needs, disabilities and their friends.
