We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Julie Eltham and the incredible ladies of Athena Sussex South East for their outstanding commitment and generosity in supporting the Children’s Respite Trust. Their recent fundraising initiative saw them walking over 100 miles throughout the month of October, all to benefit the Trust and the families we serve.
This is the second year that Julie has taken on the challenge and she did a fantastic job of inspiring others to get involved to. It’s a testament to her dedication and the unwavering support of the Athena Sussex South East community.
Julie and the team embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, turning it into a positive and impactful endeavour. We are deeply grateful to them all for choosing the Trust as the beneficiary of their efforts allowing us to make a tangible difference to the lives of those we support.
The success of this initiative would not have been possible without the generous donations from individuals who rallied behind the group of walkers. Their contributions have collectively amounted to over £300, a substantial sum that will go a long way in supporting our mission to assist disabled children and their families in need.
As we express our gratitude to Julie and Athena Sussex South East, we also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to their fundraising, Your generosity enables us to continue providing essential services and support to those who rely on the Trust during challenging times.
The impact of this challenge extends far beyond the miles walked and is a testament to the power of community, compassion, and the positive change that can be achieved by a group. So to the ladies of Athena Sussex South East, we are in awe of your hard work and thank you for your ongoing support.
