The Children’s Respite Trust receives support from the Hailsham Photographic society as part of their 2024 Colour Show.
The Hailsham Photographic Society recently hosted a breath-taking Colour Show, showcasing the creative talents of its members through an array of audio-visual presentations and a captivating exhibition of photographs. The event, held at the Hailsham Civic Community Hall on the 1st and 2nd of March, left attendees mesmerised by the vibrant displays.
The audio-visual presentation involved members of the society combining stunning visuals with compelling narratives, transporting the audience on a visual journey through landscapes, cultures, and emotions. From landscapes to bird life, each presentation offered a unique perspective, demonstrating the diverse range of skills and interests within the group. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore an exhibition of photographs showcasing the best work of the society’s members.
Through ticket sales, the Hailsham Photographic Society raised an impressive £1000 to be donated to the Children’s Respite Trust. This generous contribution will make an incredible difference to families that need it, making a positive impact within the community.
We’d like to take that time to thank Dave Brooker, the Colour Show producer for organising the event and creating a fantastic AV that illustrated how we help families and their children with additional needs. We are so grateful to other members of the society who made the event such a success,
Representatives of the Trust attended to share more about our work including Ambassadors Pauline and Brian. Thank you to Hailsham Photographic Society for choosing to support the Trust and assisting in our mission to advocate for families in need.
